As many of you know, Grand Theft Auto 4 is on its way. The newest installment has impressed Fans all over the world with its short teaser trailers and game tidbits being leaked online. Here you will find some general information about the game that has been released so far.

- Rockstar North is striving to give the player a very open ended story. They want to take it further then the last GTA in terms of being in control of your characters destiny. We are told much more freedom will be enjoyed in this game.

- The scale of GTA 4 will be near the size of GTA San Andreas. This is not in terms of overall size but in terms of content. Liberty City, which is where this GTA will take place will be the largest most detailed city Rockstar have created so far.

- Players will finally be able to navigate by street signs alone in this game. Though it is obviously not the only means of navigation.

- Like other GTA games you can do more then one mission at a time. Some require waiting for phone calls or meeting people at certain times of the day. In between you can do whatever you like.

- Witnesses to your crimes will add to your wanted level. Police will only be able to chase after you if they are aware of your location. If they cannot see you, they cannot chase you. Exiting perimeters marked on your radar when you are wanted will make your wanted level disappear. Think of it as a search radius, once you exit that radius the cops wont be there to look for you.
