Well another year has come and gone and now it is time to look to 2008. It looks like it will be a very good year for gamers on all different systems and consoles as many big name releases are on the horizon. Here you can find some information about some of the highly anticipated games so you can start saving your pennies!

Grand Theft Auto 4 – This one has the potential and looks to be the single most anticipated game of this up coming year. Fans can expect crisp new graphics. A state of the art physics engine that is sure to blow folks away and of course the trademark Rockstar flair that they manage to cram into all their GTA titles. This is not one to miss folks. Coming to Xbox 360 and PS3 in the second quarter of 2008

Duke Nukem Forever – It’s too early to say whether this is finally the year for Duke to be unleashed on gamers again. The new teaser trailer showing off the brand new engine is enough for fans to yet again wet their pants and hope 3D Realms is not playing with their minds. Though not yet official, it is rumored that 2008 will finally be the year of Duke.

Mario Kart Wii – You are not a true gamer unless you lost countless hours of your life to this more addictive then crack, cartoonish racing game. The multiplayer alone was enough to leave many gamers lacking sleep to get that last game in against their friends and shoot them one last time with the red tracker shells. Fans all over the world are hoping that the Wii version can live up to its predecessors. Look for it in the first quarter of 2008

Killzone 2 – The trailer alone put the PS3 on gamers wish lists immediately, its amazing graphics and intense gameplay were just too good to be true. There has been some controversy with the trailer and whether or not it’s truly in game graphics. All that was silenced eventually and new footage has since been released. The footage was just as good and fans once again rejoiced. People are even going as far as to call this a Halo killer. Time will tell, but this is definitely one to keep your eyes on. Gamers can check out this title in the first quarter of 2008

Fallout 3 – This one will be a big one. RPG fans all know about the Fallout series. It has it all: post apocalyptic wastelands, mutants, moon pies and great action. At one point this title was canceled by its developer Interplay, it has since been resurrected by famed developer Bethesda software. Fans could not be happier as Bethesda has worked on the long running and highly acclaimed Elder Scrolls RPG series. All but the hardest core of fanboys are happy to see such a company take over the roll developing the game. Look for this title on PC, PS3 and Xbox360 sometime in 2008
