Turning to help from their overseas puiblishers, Namco-Bandai, was apparently all that Flagship Studios and their Hellgate: London game could do to stay afloat. In the past several weeks, the company as laid off much of their staff and has also not billed their subscription service.
A statement has been made claiming that the game will stay live for the time being and any changes will be publicized through the forum and on the main site so that everyone can be well aware in advanced as to what the changes are.
The service that currently costs $9.99 per month hasn’t even lasted a full year, as the game debuted in October 2007, making those who paid for the Founders Offer of $150 very angry with the situation. Unfortunately, there is nothing they can do about it.
