It looks like it’s going to be an amazing weekend over at PAX 2008, but for those of use who couldn’t make it, there has been plenty of great Penny Arcade based news for us to bask in. Well, the Playstation 3 only Penny Arcade fans, that is.

Most of us have already been lucky enough to play through The Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness on either the PC, Mac, or Xbox 360. But unfortunately those on the Playstation 3 haven’t been able to do so. It would appear that their luck has finally changed, however, as they’ll be able to purchase this adventure come winter, with a few extras in store.

The first episode of Penny Arcade Adventures will arrive on the PS3 before the end of the year, with Trophy support and a sharp 1080p resolution. Plus, they’re expecting future episodes to hit the console in a much more timely fashion.
