EA has just recently revealed some excelletn information (for them at least). Looks like Spore has broken the 1 million copies sold world wide. This crosses all major platforms (apparently the iPhone isn’t included! Oh noes!) so we’re talking PC, Mac, and Nintendo DS.

EA has also stated that there are more than 25 million creatures, vehicles, and buildings in their Sporepedia thanks to all of the Spore maniacs out there.

What seems to really be confusing is that they hit this number so fast with everyone complaining oh so much about the DRM. EA has put one of the most secure DRM’s in place on a video game yet, leaving many people wondering how it made it that far.

But then again it is Spore.
