Starting today, Sony will be offering a selection of Premium Themes each month on the Playstation Store. The first round of themes which hit the store today offer special backgrounds and XMB icons, as well as sound. The pricing for these themes is set at a modest $0.99 to $1.99. Sony will continue to offer their free themes each week, but expect to see some of the better themes gone premium. After looking through the offered premium themes on the Playstation blog, sticking with freebies will be an option most people will consider. The premium themes don’t really add that much to the XMB, unless you’re a die hard fan of a certain game
