This decision makes absolutely no sense, considering with Sony, you can purchase things for your PSP on your PS3. However, Nintendo is a completely different company. Apparently, the Wii Points system will be renamed to Nintendo Points (how original) and once the DSi is released, these points will be able to be used on both the Wii and the DSi. You’d think being able to purchase a 5000 point Nintedo card and split them between the systems would be awesome, but you’d be wrong, at least in Nintendo’s eyes. Once you purchase the card, you’ll be able to activate it on one system. This seems like a half hearted attempt to get people purchasing more Wi.. I mean Nintendo Points. Microsoft and Nintendo should give up on the whole point based system and just go with cold hard cash, like Sony.
