PSP-3000 Is Pandora Proof
Posted by Bryan Barletta, 87 days ago Oct 15, 2008 21:35

Infamous PSP developer Dark Alex has confirmed on his blog that the newly released PSP-3000 model does not work with his Universal Unbricker. He states that the cause is probably the inclusion of an updated CPU which can also be found in the TA-088 v3 units. This isn’t really surprising, considering Sony has been strict on custom firmware for quite some time. This means PSP owners wishing to upgrade to the new system but wanting to keep custom firmware are out of luck, for now. A work around will probably be found over the next few months, so keep your eyes peeled. Dark Alex doesn’t stay down for long.
