Namco Bandai has just announced that they will be re-releasing the second game in the “Soul” series on Xbox Live Arcade. Soul Calibur, which originally released on the Dreamcast in 1998 as a sequel to Namco Bandai’s Soul Edge, is expected to be made available on Xbox Live Arcade around the same time this summer that Namco Bandai’s Soul Calibur IV is slated to be released.
The Xbox Live Arcade version of Soul Calibur will include all of the features included in the original Dreamcast version, but there has been no official word as to exactly what additional features will be added. However, there are rumors that the new version may include a number of additional features such as online play and online leaderboards.
