It’s unfortunate that some companies just don’t realize how much of a boys club that the FPS genre seems to be. With big hitters like Half-Life and Halo already claiming their system, the room for a PS3 heavy weight was available, but that didn’t guarantee the success of Haze enough to please critics.

The game overall seems to leave critics with a lackluster feel. The awkward plot leaves many people questioning why they didn’t just buy Resistance: Fall Of Man instead. In a time when the PS3 could really use an exclusive, it’s really unfortunate that what was touted to be the Halo 3 of the PS3 fell so far short.
