Halo Wars, the RTS answer to the Halo series of games, has been in development for quite some time but many of the details have stayed under raps. With its planned October 2008 release on the XBLA, GamePro has managed to do some digging and has revealed a few new bits of information for those of you who are foaming at the mouth.

We’re looking at a 2 player online co-op mode along with a 6 player all out xbox live multiplayer mode. The different types of game play have yet to be confirmed, but as it is an RTS, it may not even have any variations for the multiplayer mode.
