The majority of us out there interested in Wii Fit have probably lost a good few pounds looking for the game and balance board on store shelves. While we’re slaving away, those in rehabilitation facilities and retirement homes have been selfishly using our novelty toys!

Where as I could be learning Yoga to better improve my posture from blogging all day, these people are relearning and strengthening their balance and over all core strength. What a pitty.

The Wii Fit has become a success for its interactive experience, offering something that’s a step better than Wii Sports (saving tv’s in the process) and a step less active then Dance Dance Revolution. Hopefully we’ll see this type of use become more common. After all, indoor gym class has been replaced with DDR in some locations!
