The hotly anticipated evolution simulator from SimCity creator Will Wright, Spore looks to be one of the most exciting titles due out this year. It’s demo creature creator, which allows budding Dr. Frankensteins to create custom life forms, has surpassed the million created mark.

Since its launch June 18, there has been a myriad of weird and crazy concoctions by amateur character designers. If people are this enthusiastic about the creator, imagine what they’ll do when the game drops September 5 and they can actually do something with their creations.
