Everyone sigh with me. Nintendo has pushed back the release of their DVD-playing Wii. Although clearly not a top priority, Nintendo does, some day, want a Wii that can play DVDs available.

At this point, with DVD players being so damn cheap (I found one for $27.99 in five seconds on amazon) is it really necessary to get a Wii that can play movies? I mean yeah, it’d be nice, but how about beefing up the disc space so players don’t need three SD cards to save all their WiiWare/Virtual Console games to?
