After EA realized how poorly the Sims games translated over to the console market, they had to do something unique to get their audience back. That’s where MySims came about.

But after MySims cleaned house, although missing several features that would have made it even better, EA has decided to bring that game to the PC market.

This is where things get confusing. First, MySims is a Sims-lite if anything. There’s less to do and thus has more of an ending then the other Sims games. Second, The Sims 3 is coming out soon.

While those poor children without Wii’s but with computer may be in luck, to me, this seems like a grab for cash on EA’s part.
