One of the most anticipated games of the year, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed has been officially given the launch date of September 16th in the US and September 19th for the rest of the world. The game takes place between Episode III: Revenge of the Sith and Episode IV: A New Hope and turns the player into a Dark Jedi Apprentice to Darth Vader who has been given orders to hunt down and kill the other Jedi’s.

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, will be available for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, Nintendo DS, PlayStation 2, and PSP on September 16th.
